The pain continued for the Raiders in the triple header as the Supers had a tough time of it against a pretty strong Bayside Saints outfit.  As it does when you are behind on the scoreboard, the luck didn’t seem to go our way and the 50/50 decisions always seem to go to the opposition.  However, Bayside held their marks and kicked straight when they needed to, taking a comfortable win.  The midfield was well serviced by Incy in the ruck, who also showed some scary dash….and why wouldn’t you be scared being in his way?  That Bayside Saint sidestep out of Incy’s way would make Disco Ross very proud!  We welcomed first gamer Jay Mills to the team and he looked very good across halfback, although Dynesy’s half back might not agree!  No knees up Millsy!  Chop played a ripper as captain, although surely a fine is under consideration after wearing a woollen long sleeve Essendon jumper from the 1930s underneath his Raider jumper.  Special mention to Mick Hester who busted his snozz in the opening quarter and just played on regardless as though he had two working nostrils and didn’t give his opponent a sniff.  Matty O and Cam Richo were excellent also.  Special mention also to Brett Rumpf in the backline who showed a clean set of heals and was very solid all day.  Wokka would like to thank CamBrown, Noons & Bradders for doubling up from the Masters to help out.  Special mention to trainer Paula who took her ‘safety first’ mindset to a new level when trying to save a small bird before it was trampled by the Supers bench.  Unfortunately, like our Supers match, the result did not go the bird’s way.
